QuickPlog is a PHP application using MySQL as a database. I've run it on Apache only, under both Windows & Linux. The help page lists the requirements in more detail.

You should have some familiarity with HTML, style sheets (CSS) & creating directories. Knowing how to set .htaccess would be useful as well although you can get by with only an ability to create a few directories if you use the templates & pages as provided.

You can set up & run QuickPlog as a subsiduary page to your regular index with little effort so there is no need to do any kind of mass conversion to get started.

My current host doesn't allow software distribution so if you want to try QuickPlog send an email to dave at imageplanet dot net.
